Job Advert: Teaching Assistant & Behaviour Support (Full-Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant & Behaviour Support to join our team at a primary school in Rotherham. This full-time role involves working within the classroom and supporting an attached inclusion unit, focusing on students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), autism, and behavioural issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to students with SEND, autism, and behaviour difficulties, helping them engage with learning activities and supporting their emotional well-being.
Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment and tailoring lessons to meet individual student needs.
Work closely with the school's inclusion unit to support students with more complex needs.
Use behaviour management techniques to support students in regulating their behaviour and improving social interactions.
Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

Requirements:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification (essential).
Team Teach certification (desirable).
Previous experience working with children with SEND, autism, and behaviour challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a nurturing and patient approach.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
A passion for supporting children's development and inclusion.

Working Hours:
