Recovery Worker - Penrith
Permanent, 30 hours per week

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Worker to join their team to work on a rota covering days shifts, 30 hours per week.
The role:
Provide support to individuals with mental health issues, promoting recovery and independence.
Assist clients in developing personal support plans and achieving their goals.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their well-being.
Encourage and support the residents to help them achieve their personal goals.
Work collaboratively with other professionals and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with organisational policies.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of service delivery.
Adhere to all relevant internal policies & procedures Ideal Candidate and requirements
Experience in supporting vulnerable people particularly within mental health settings.
Understanding of mental health problems and their impact on individuals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications in health and social care, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
Knowledge of adult services and support work practices.
Empathy, patience, and a non-judgemental approach to care.
Ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and sensitivity. Benefits:
