About the Role

As our Financial Controller, you'll be the heartbeat of our financial strategy — ensuring robust financial health, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making at the highest level. You’ll manage all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and analysis, while leading and mentoring a high-performing finance team.

Your experience in HVAC, construction, or service industries will help you hit the ground running in this pivotal leadership role.

What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Oversee financial operations including AP/AR, payroll, and tax compliance
✅ Prepare accurate consolidated, company, and divisional financial reports and forecasts
✅ Manage job costing processes and analyse performance variances
✅ Develop and enforce robust financial policies and internal controls
✅ Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning
✅ Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements
✅ Deliver actionable financial insights to drive business efficiency and cost savings
✅ Partner with senior leadership to influence strategic decisions
✅ Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence
✅ Liaise with auditors, banks, and financial institutions

What We’re Looking For

✅ Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
✅ Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager
✅ Background in HVAC, construction, or service-based industries
✅ Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
✅ Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems
✅ Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills

✅High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
