They are recruiting a Production Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will lead by example within the factory, managing a small team. The chosen applicant will oversee a small group of engineers in the facility and set an example for others to follow. The job you’ll do:

* Oversight of all incoming and outgoing goods.
Setting an example in an environment that is initially 80% factory, and 20% office based.

* Serving as the manufacturing floor's go-to person for everyone in need of guidance or assistance.

* Effective communication with every employee in the company.

* A factory figurehead.

* Forecasting.

* Monitoring productivity reports and recording any pertinent data.

* Operations management.

* Taking care of filing-related tasks such as filling lateness and return to work.

About you:

* Previous experience working within the manufacturing industry would be preferred.

* IT Literate

* You may have Lean Management or six Sigma experience/skills.

* Experience of managing or supervising a team.

* Someone who leads by example.

* Hardworking, who is willing to join a small business, to help their growth
