We are currently recruiting for a PART or FULL TIME Finance Manager to join our team within the Yarm area. This role will be working Hybrid. An excellent opportunity to work with a growing Recruitment Agency.
The key duties of this role will include:
• Lead the month-end management accounts process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyse P&L variances to support commentary and recommendations
• Review monthly payroll to ensure accurate payment, check payroll reports
• Manage a team of 2 in the AP and AR functions, ensuring efficient processing and accurate record-keeping, ad being part of the AP/AR function
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial plans
• Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required
* • Be a key player in the annual statutory audit
* Completing VAT returns
* Management accounts preparation to hand to accountants
* CIS returns and stataments
* Intermediatory reports
* Dealing with HMRC with submissions
* Credit Control
* Credit Checks
* New Employee contracts and commission
* monthly GP reports
The successful candidate will:
• Be part Qualified, Finalist or Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA - Essential
• Have strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards - Essential
• Have previous experience of people management/supervision - Desirable
• Previous knowledge of Xero – Desirable
