About the Role:

Position: Technical Operator
Location: Newcastle
Hourly Rate: £16.50 - £17.50 ph 
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday DAYS
A combination of operating equipment and basic Maintenance.

Opportunity to do hands on Maintenance and progress to their Maintenance team. 
What You’ll Be Doing:

Operate and maintain high-tech machinery and equipment as a Technical Operator to ensure smooth and efficient production
Conduct regular equipment checks and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
Work closely with a team to achieve production and Engineering targets and maintain high-quality standards
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality regulations throughout all operations
What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Operator or Engineer in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment
Skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting advanced machinery and technology
Qualifications: Apprentice trained and qualified to a Level 3 or above in mechanical engineering
Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
