We are currently looking for a permanent skilled CNC Turner to join a leading well-established Engineering company. They are a market leader within their field. Due to expansion, they are now looking for a CNC Machinist on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC machining processes and be proficient in operating CNC turning machines.

The role

* Working from Engineering drawings

* Programme, setting and running machines

* Turning bias but milling experience also would be an advantage

* Ability to programme set and run Puma 400 and 700

* Ability to run Hass machinery a big advantage—ST 30/vf2/Super mini mill

* Being responsible for the production and scheduling of work.

* Monitoring product standards and supporting quality-control procedures.

* Maximising productivity, minimising downtime of machines.

* Providing daily/weekly/monthly performance reports and analysis as required.

* For right candidate we offer £16.24.

* After a 12 week probation period an additional weekly allowance of £94.71 is paid

* Hours are Hours are 37 Monday to Thursday 7.30 to 5.15 .

* Overtime is paid at Over time is x 1.3 Mon to Friday .x 1.5 on Saturday and x 2 on Sunday

The person

* Must be Time served CNC machinist

* Have experience with Turning bias but milling experience also would be a big advantage

* Ability to programme set and run Puma 400 and 700

* Ability to run Hass machinery a big advantage—ST 30/vf2/Super mini mill

* Be able to follow engineering drawings

* Experience of Mazatrol would also be an advantage
