Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join our team on a full-time basis for a 3-month booking, with an immediate start date. The successful candidate will provide expert musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy services, working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients with musculoskeletal conditions to identify their physical needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.

* Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to manage pain, improve mobility, and enhance functional abilities.

* Rehabilitation: Develop and implement rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring effective recovery and prevention of further injury.

* Patient Education: Educate patients on their conditions, treatment plans, and self-management strategies to promote active participation in their recovery.

* Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other allied health staff, to provide integrated care.

* Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, interventions, and outcomes.

* Caseload Management: Manage a defined caseload independently, ensuring effective prioritisation and time management to meet service demands.

* Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in MSK physiotherapy practices.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.

* Registration: Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

* Experience: Significant experience working as a physiotherapist with a focus on musculoskeletal conditions.

* Competencies: Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and management of patients with MSK conditions.

* Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

* Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing environments and work effectively under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

* Advanced Practice: Further training or certifications in MSK physiotherapy or related fields.

* Leadership Skills: Experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff and contributing to team development.
