CPCS Crane Appointed Person wanted on the Isle of Grain.

Our client an international steelwork and civils firm are looking for an Appointed Person for a contract role.

Erection of structural steelwork on the LNG plant including portal frames and support steelwork.

You will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities:

* Assessment site to establish the most efficient, safe, cost effective lifting solutions

* Develop comprehensive lift plans, and method statements necessary for the work

* Liaise with the project managers, site supervisors, and crane operators to ensure safe execution of Lifting operations

* Adhere to LOLER and general health and safety regulations at all time

* Incident investigations corrective actions where necessary

You must have a CPCS Blue or Gold Card and have extensive experience in large structural steelwork projects.
Strong communication skills are necessary to ensure safe completion of crane lifts.
You will be working on a large multi-national and multi-ethnic site so interpersonal skills are mandatory.

Contract is till December with good potential for a permanent job if sought.
