We are working alongside a secondary school based in West Sussex who are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join them in January 2025. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the educational development of students while working in a supportive, collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction to students, fostering a love of literature and language, and supporting academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across various year groups (specific grade levels may vary).
Plan, prepare, and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and maintaining accurate records of performance.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for reading and writing.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular activities and support school-wide initiatives.
Prepare students for external examinations (e.g., GCSEs, A-Levels, etc.) where applicable.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.Requirements:

Must be a qualified teacher.
Experience: Previous experience teaching English in a school setting is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students. Familiarity with the latest educational technologies and teaching methods is a plus.
Personal Attributes: Passionate about teaching and learning, highly organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to student success.
