ONEDP is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Southampton.

We offer ongoing work with flexible shift patterns to suit your schedule. General haulage roles are available.

Rates:

* Days – Monday to Friday

* PAYE From – STD - £15.50 / £16.75 - Overtime

* LTD From – STD - £17.50 / £20 - Overtime

* Nights Monday to Thursday

* LTD From – STD -£19.50 / £22.00 - Overtime

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform daily vehicle checks according to company procedures to ensure roadworthiness.

* Report vehicle defects promptly in line with company procedures.

* Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.

* Report any customer complaints to the Transport team.

* Adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.

* Secure freight for transit and ensure vehicles are not overloaded.

* Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle.

Skills and Expertise:

* Valid HGV LGV Class 1 licence.

* A minimum of 2 years of experience.

* Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card).

* Digital Tachograph card.

* No more than 6 points on your licence.
