Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join a grounds maintenance team in Exeter. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of various outdoor spaces, ensuring they are well-presented and safe for public use.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform grounds maintenance and vegetation management tasks such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, shrub bed maintenance (including pruning), and weed spraying.
Carry out graffiti removal using chemicals or powered equipment.
Operate mechanical sweepers for cleaning outdoor spaces.
Maintain sports pitches, tennis courts, and other outdoor sports facilities.
Assist with general cleaning and maintenance duties, including removing litter, emptying bins, trimming or removing weed growth, and maintaining public toilets when needed.Requirements:

Full driving license is essential.
Experience with powered pedestrian equipment and hand-held tools is desirable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
