Progress Teachers are working closely with a local Mainstream Secondary School to appoint a skilled and dynamic Cover Supervisor for a full-time role to commence in January 2025. .

Key Responsibilities:
* Classroom Supervision: Effectively manage classrooms in the absence teachers, ensuring a focused and purposeful learning environment.
* Lesson Delivery: Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students, maintaining the continuity of learning and following school policies.
* Behaviour Management: Consistently implement the school's behaviour management policies to promote an atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Personalised Support: Offer support to individual students or small groups as needed, ensuring that they can access learning effectively.
* Communication: Maintain clear communication with colleagues regarding student progress, behaviour, and any issues that may arise during the day.
* Administration: Complete necessary administrative tasks, such as registering attendance, and reporting any incidents or concerns to the relevant colleagues.
* Professional Development: Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on School policy and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
* Previous experience working in an educational setting is highly desirable.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas.
* Knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
