Young Person's Residential Support Worker

Precedo Healthcare are currently recruiting Young Person's Support Workers to work within Residential services in Glossop and the surrounding areas

You will be expected to support and encourage them in day to day activities either within the service or in the community.

To be successful in this role, you will need to;

Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
Have an understanding of conditions such as Autism, developmental delays, physical disabilities and the emotional effects these may have on the child and families.
Be able to de-escalate challenging situations successfully
To support the child with any personal care needs they have
Have a fully Enhanced Child and Adult DBS or be willing to fund one
A driver with access to their own vehicle would be advantageous due to the locationWe are able to offer a variety of shifts, full or part time, half days, long days or nights but you must be able adhere to the shift times of (Apply online only) / (Apply online only) / (Apply online only).

Please note we are not accepting applicants who are currently on a Skilled Worker Visa, seeking secondary employment, as we are unable to actively track the hours worked with the primary sponsor.
