About the Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will be instrumental in delivering engaging and comprehensive science lessons that stimulate students' curiosity and enhance their understanding of the world. You will be part of a dedicated team, striving to create an inspiring and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities of the Science Teacher:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics, tailored to a range of abilities.
Use innovative teaching methods and practical demonstrations to engage students and enhance their understanding.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Promote a positive learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking and a love for science.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials and cross-curricular projects.
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed.
Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and inclusion within the classroom.
Requirements of the Science Teacher:

A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, or equivalent).
A degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields).
Demonstrable experience in teaching science at the secondary level.
Profoundly knowledgeable in Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
Commitment to promoting safeguarding and the welfare of children.
