Manpower Engineering is excited to be working with an international power generation company to recruit 2 Workshop-Based Mechanical Fitters for a 2-year project.

Position Details:

Role: Join the mechanical team to build and refurbish components such as valves, blades, compressors, and turbines. You will be using hand tools, micrometers, and verniers in your daily tasks.
Work Schedule: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Requirements:

Qualifications: A recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Mechanical Assembly experience
Experience working to tight tolerances
Strong understanding of valve work
Experience with compressors and turbines is a plus
Experience of using manual micrometers
