Are you looking to join a team who are passionate about creating an exceptional experience for patients in modern, clean and comfortable surroundings? Then we would like to hear from you. We are looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team.
What you'll be doing
Our Physiotherapy team work closely with all clinical departments to aid patient’s rehabilitation pre and post-surgery. Working as part of the team, led by our experienced Physiotherapy Lead you will work within the outpatient, ward and day surgery areas, acting as support for the team and our patients.
As a vital member of the team you’ll be responsible for assisting the Physiotherapists in the treatment of patients. This will include treating patients delegated by a qualified Physiotherapist and being responsible for your own caseload; monitoring, progressing and altering patient treatment plans as appropriate. You will also carry out a range of non-clinical duties.
What we’ll look for in you
You will be friendly, approachable, flexible and motivated and possess a genuine interest in the patients that visit and staff that work in the Hospital's well as:
Relevant healthcare experience in a similar setting
You will already have NVQ3
Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
