Management Accountant required to work for one of the county’s leading employers, as Management Accountant you will work within the Management Accounts team, providing information, guidance and support to budget holders on managing their income and expenditure. This role will suit a current part qualified studier or fully qualified individual. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and attractive benefits package.

* Responsible for the completion of monthly management accounts, forecasts and annual budgets

* Monitor actual performance against budgets across specific cost centres

* Review the reconciliations of specific control accounts on a monthly basis

* Prepare and distribute relevant and meaningful monthly management information reports to specific budget holders

* Assist budget managers in developing new income generation and cost saving opportunities

* financial operational activities, including specific project analysis, and preparation of information for and submission of annual financial returns
