Supply Personnel are seeking teachers and teaching assistants to work with groups of children allowing them to ‘catch up’ and close the gaps in learning. These intervention roles would suit a ECT Primary Teacher. In some schools, it would be covering the class for the teacher, while they deliver interventions.
Hence the roles vary from full time to part time, half days to full days and working with pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 in Maths, Reading, and Writing as well as pastorally.
These roles are diverse and working with small groups or with children on a 1:1 basis is extremely rewarding, watching the child progress. The schools are situated in Leicester City and are easily accessible by public transport.
These roles are available to any teacher with QTS or TA’s with tutoring experience.
*Have recent experience in teaching and/or tutoring
* Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
* Be able to explain the basic building blocks of learning and work to the school’s scheme of work and provide feedback
