Are you an aspiring Deputy Manager or an established Deputy looking for a change?

TeacherActive are proud to be working with an esteemed children’s residential home provider to source a Deputy Manager for their home in Moseley , This is an EBD home and a company that is keen on progression, they are keen at looking at applicants with their NVQ level 3 or relevant social care equivalent to join their established team.

Shifts are as follows: 

Long day - 8:30 - 11pm

Sleeps - until 8:30 the following day 

Children’s home Deputy Manager’s role requires

Minimum one year working with children/young adults in the education or care sector (desirable)
Level 3 NVQ in children's residential care or equivalent (desirable)
A full UK driving licence (essential)

The Residential Home can accommodate children up to 18 years of age. Due to the nature of this post the Department for Education National Minimum Standards state that the support workers must be 4 years older than the oldest resident. Therefore, applicants must be 22 years of age or older.
