Responsibilities:
Provide focused support for students with additional social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Assist in delivering nurturing programs and interventions to help students develop social skills, self-regulation, and confidence.
Work closely with teachers to create a safe and encouraging classroom environment tailored to individual needs.
Foster positive relationships with students, acting as a trusted mentor and advocate for their well-being.
Monitor and record student progress, communicating insights and feedback to teachers and parents.
Contribute to creating a warm, supportive, and inclusive school culture where every child feels valued and understood.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in nurture or special educational needs settings, is advantageous.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's emotional and social development.
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to varied student needs.
Qualifications or training related to child development, behavior management, or mental health support are highly beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
