GSL Education Lincoln is currently recruiting a History Teacher for maternity cover to work in a progressive school in Skegness. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who can engage students with a love for history, ensuring continuity of learning throughout the maternity period.
History Teacher role:
The successful History Teacher will be part of an energetic and supportive team, responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality history lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. You will work with the History department to maintain a high standard of teaching and ensure students continue to thrive in their learning.
The successful candidate will:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4
Be passionate about delivering creative and inspiring lessons
Have excellent classroom management skills and a focus on student progress
Be adaptable and able to meet the demands of maternity cover
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
