H9 are proud to be partnering with a leading national organisation to hire a Head of EDI & Wellbeing to lead their team. This is a real purpose-led organisation with an excellent People team across the UK.

About the Role

As the Head of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion (EDI) and Wellbeing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's culture. You will lead the team in developing and implementing strategies that promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for all staff and volunteers. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that EDI and wellbeing are at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive EDI and wellbeing strategies aligned with our organizational goals.
Lead and manage a team of EDI and wellbeing professionals.
Collaborate with senior leadership to foster a culture of inclusion and wellbeing.
Develop and deliver educational programs to promote awareness and understanding of EDI and wellbeing issues.
Monitor and evaluate EDI and wellbeing metrics to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
Represent the organization at external events and conferences.
Advise on policies and procedures related to EDI and wellbeing.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience in leading EDI and wellbeing initiatives in a complex organization.
Strong understanding of EDI and wellbeing principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace.
