My client, based in High Wycombe, is seeking a Technical Artworker to join their team. This permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a small studio team to ensure all customer-supplied files are prepared for print based on specifications, maximising efficiency in a busy print factory.

As a Technical Artworker, you will prepare customer files for print, manipulate data in Excel, and perform complex data merging using InDesign and XMPie. You will also handle general art working and document formatting.

Managing your workload by prioritising urgent jobs is crucial, as well as liaising with the Account Management team to fully understand and execute customer requirements and signing off proofs where applicable.

We seek a diligent, flexible, and enthusiastic individual with a 'can do' attitude and a willingness to learn new skills. The ability to work as a team player within an experienced and dedicated studio team is essential.

Skills and Competencies:

Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, proficiency to expert level in Excel, and a good understanding of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Illustrator are required. Experience with the XMPie plug-in for InDesign is preferable. You should have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, be highly organised, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Role Details:

This role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with some flexibility on working hours. The salary is £30-36k, dependent on experience.
