An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Practice Accountant / Client Manager with 3 years’ experience in UK accountancy practice to join a well-established accountancy firm. This role can be full-time or part-time offering excellent benefits, hybrid working option and a salary range of £40,000 - £55,000 for 25 - 37.5 hours work week.

As a Senior Practice Accountant / Client Manager, you will manage key accounting tasks and provide strategic advice to ensure clients’ financial compliance and success.

You will be responsible for:

Prepare and file year-end accounts and corporation tax returns.
Submit VAT and self-assessment tax returns accurately and on time.
Ensure clients comply with statutory deadlines and regulatory requirements.
Manage a diverse client portfolio, providing tailored financial advice.
Build strong client relationships and deliver strategic financial guidance.
Advise on cloud accounting systems like Xero and QuickBooks.
Mentor junior team members to maintain excellent service standards.

What we are looking for:

Previously worked as a Client manager, Accounts Manager, Senior Practice Accountant, Accounts Supervisor, Senior Client Accountant or in a similar role.
At least 3 years’ experience in UK accountancy practice.
Background in managing a portfolio of clients.
Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA).
Skilled in Xero, Quickbooks, Taxcalc, Engager etc.
Right to work in the UK.
Located within a 10-mile radius.
