Purchasing Officer – Eastwood – Salary Negotiable

Chase & Holland are excited to be partnering with a rapidly growing, family-owned business who are looking to recruit a Purchasing Officer to join their team.
Reporting into the Purchasing Team Leader, this newly created role is the perfect development opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to support the team.

As the Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for:

Building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders
Processing purchase requests and placing purchase orders
Obtaining quotations from existing and new potential new suppliers
Negotiating commercial conditions with suppliers
Maintaining data onto system
Creating new part numbers
Analysing and resolving invoice queries by communicating with suppliers
Your working Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday

Skills & Experience you require:

Experience within a similar role
Previous knowledge of ERP systems desirable
Ability to work with large amounts of complex data
Strong negotiations skills
Experience in organising and managing competitive tenders
