Formal professional training will be provided to gain product knowledge

Essential requirements:

* Good knowledge of Mechanical Engineering – qualification essential

* Excellent communication skills enabling you to provide professional customer service support

* Technically minded – An advantage if you have an interest in physics or chemistry

* Be able to demonstrate initiative & problem-solving skills

* Wanting to develop a career and willingness to take on extra responsibility as you develop into the job role.

* A driving licence or future plans to gain your driving licence

* Be able to travel for training outside of the UK

* Ability to develop professional working relationships with both colleagues and customers

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Desirable:

* Previous experience working in a customer focussed role

* Knowledge or experience of thermodynamics or refrigeration would be an advantage.

Summary of responsibilities:

* The primary purpose is to support the internal and external sales teams and be the bridge between customers and the applications team. Providing customers with technical information on a wide range of products.

* To provide accurate and timely responses to technical enquires from customers and the internal sales team. Providing outstanding customer service on a multitude of topics.

* Identify and provide reliable solutions for all applications issues to assure complete customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

* Optimise selection of equipment, making maximum use of product range. Ensuring customers are kept informed of progress.

* Assist the Technical Manager with managing warranty claims.

* Visit customers at their premises and/or on site alongside Business Line Managers at the discretion of management.

* To be aware of and comply with ISO 9001:2015 processes and procedures where applicable.
