Volumetric Driver

Are you an experienced Volumetric Driver looking for an exciting new opportunity? Look no further!

As a Volumetric Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering our concrete and related products to project sites across the East of England. This full-time role offers 45hours per week Monday – Friday, plus the opportunity for overtime hours at a rate of £19.56.

Main Duties of the Volumetric Driver:

* Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of site mixed concrete to various locations

* Complete daily vehicle checks and keep the truck in an acceptable and clean condition

* Work in accordance with safe practices and legislation with regards to Driver Hours and the Working Time Directive

* Complete required documentation with good attention to detail

* Batching of quality approved concrete

* Utilise best route to achieve delivery targets in the most economical way

* Truck maintenance

* Loading Shovel driving duties

Person Specification:

* Prior volumetric driver experience in a similar position.

* Full HGV Licence with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC.

* Valid NPORS Card.

* You will need to be an enthusiastic, reliable, customer-focused, and punctual individual.

* Strong communication skills for positive relationships.

* Familiarity with the local area is beneficial.

* Flexible in your approach and willingness to learn all aspects of the business.
