Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, management, and on-site delivery of technical and scenic installations, ensuring smooth implementation and safe removal.
Technical Advising: Provide expert advice to Account Managers on complex technical aspects of live events.
Documentation and Schematics: Produce detailed technical schematics, cable calls, and floor plans.
Client and Project Development: Engage in client and project development, assisting with business pitches alongside Account Managers.
Crew and Logistics Planning: Collaborate with the Operations Department to plan and coordinate crew, logistics, and vehicles for events.
LED Installation Coordination: Assist with the planning and coordination of LED rig and de-rig operations.
Training Development: Work closely with the Technical department to develop LED training programs.
Health and Safety: Produce and maintain relevant health and safety documentation.
Technological Proficiency: Stay updated with the latest technology, rigging, power, and safety procedures. Required Qualifications and Experience:

Extensive AV Experience: Significant experience as a live event AV technician, either with an events AV company, venue, or as a freelance technician.
Technical Project Management: Proven end-to-end technical project management experience in live events.
Event Power and Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of event power, cable runs, and health and safety protocols.
Virtual Events Expertise: Familiarity with virtual event technologies and streaming platforms.
CAD Proficiency: Competence in Vectorworks or equivalent CAD software for creating and interpreting schematics.
Technical Calculations: Ability to calculate lens throws, lighting angles, weight loads, speaker dispersion, power draws, sight lines, and floor load restrictions.
Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve project-related issues under pressure.
IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Professionalism: Courteous demeanor, capable of maintaining calmness and confidence under pressure.
