Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading manufacturer of equipment for the construction industry to recruit a Management Accountant for their team based in Northampton.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the UK General Manager you will:

Oversee full P&L management for a minimum of £10m p/a, ensuring accurate reporting and financial control.
Provide monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
High to expert proficiency in Excel with strong working knowledge of SAGE.
Manage currency exposure, particularly in Euro and USD.
Collaborate across the business where required.
Oversee one direct report, providing guidance and leadership in financial operations.
Assist in financial system migration, with full training provided on new platforms.
Analyse financial data to support decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required for business needs.
Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Fully qualified CIMA Management Accountant (required)
Proficiency in Excel and SAGE; knowledge of CDK/EBS would be an advantage.
Strong international financial experience, including exposure to Euro and USD currencies.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Personal skills

The role would suit someone who has:

Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and provide insights to support business decisions.
Good communication skills, able to relay financial information to non-financial and senior stakeholders across different regions.
Excellent attention to detail.
~3-5 years of experience and looking to develop their career.
Salary and benefits of the role

Highly competitive basic, between £50k-£60k per annum.
