We are actively recruiting a highly experienced Electronic Test Development Engineer with a background within Electronic Manufacturing. Ideally you will be located with an easy commute to our Northampton office (Own transport essential), however we are open to a location in the Midlands area with a proposed satellite office for the right person with a strong TDE background with ability and experience to grow a team

The role of Electronic Test Development Engineer will require you to take responsibility for the design, development of Functional Test Application Specifications of both hardware and software to ensure the highest quality test applications programmes for electronic products.

General Description

Design and develop applications for the functional test of electronic and electrical products. Define the test approach and/or specifications and document the project scope for each project and generate test programmes using LabVIEW and TestStand

Technical Requirements:

* Engineering qualification in electronic/electrical engineering ideally to degree level with in-depth relevant functional test programme development experience

* Currently employed in a test development role within an electronic manufacturing environment.

* Software design using LabVIEW and TestStand, to produce functional test programmes for electronic products. 5 years +. This is Essential

* Experience of electronic hardware design, including use of schematic CAD

* Equipment interfaces (e.g. fixtures), test system architecture and basic electro-mechanical engineering would be an advantage

* Basic salary c£45-£50k + Bens and annual Bonus c£5k.

You will need to be eligable to go through a Security clearance process.

You will require your own transport.
