Our client, a well-established, successful and dynamic contractor, have an excellent opportunity for someone experienced or looking to develop their career and grow with a leading Contractor within the Landscaping & Fencing Industry.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing project costs, ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality standards. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for cost control, financial management, and providing accurate reports for commercial Landscaping & Fencing projects. You will take full commercial responsibility of the project’s costs including any negotiations up to and including final account agreement, pricing of variations/additional works as and when required & obtaining PO Numbers/Instructions, liaising with external QSs on account status, preparation of monthly applications for payment, dealing with PLNs and account discrepancies, retention monitoring and maintaining relationships with our established customers

To qualify, you will possess relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field. You will be a methodical thinker, with excellent problem solving skills, financial and numeracy management skills. You will have experience reading and understanding technical design packages with knowledge of the Construction Act. Knowledge of soft landscaping and fencing industry desirable
