Job title: Lapping Machine Operator

Location: Slough

Salary: £24,900 - £25,900

Hours: Monday to Thursday - 08:30 - 17:00 / Friday - 8:30 - 16:30 (+ Overtime available, with competitive rates)

Lapping and polishing components to achieve precise flatness and surface finish
Hand lapping using specialised tools
Masking and grooving Mating Rings using PC-operated masking machines and grit blasting
Operating laser machines to create spiral grooves
Inspecting parts using optical flats and interferometers
Conducting spin testing of grooved Mating RingRole Requirements:

A background in mechanical work - machining, engineering, or similar hands-on roles
A keen eye for detail and precision
Ability to use a PC for data entry and machine operation
