As a newly established home care agency, our initial focus will be on private care provision. Our service packages will be diverse, ranging from regular care calls throughout the day to overnight stays to support clients during the night. You will also play a crucial role in establishing our business for Local Authority contracts, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with the director to recruit and onboard a skilled and experienced team.
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home care service, enabling clients across Milton Keynes to live independently in their own homes.
Conducting care assessments, developing care plans and ensuring regular reviews of care services.
Being an approachable and familiar presence for clients and their families.
Supervising and empowering your team with regular supervision, appraisals, and training opportunities.
Driving continuous improvement of services through regular monitoring and feedback.
Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements by participating in internal audits and inspections.
Working closely with the director to implement any necessary improvements or changes identified by external bodies.
We’re looking for a Registered Manager with:
Significant experience in management within domiciliary care, having previously operated at the Registered Manager, Branch Manager, or Domiciliary Care Manager level.
A strong understanding of the private client domiciliary care market and Local Authority contracts.
Knowledge of CQC standards and requirements and an understanding of your legal obligations as a Registered Manager of a regulated care service.
Ideally, a QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management of Social Care Services or an equivalent qualification.
A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle are essential.
