Senior Site Manager / Project Manager – External Works (Data Centre)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager / Project Manager to oversee the external works on a new Data Centre build. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a critical phase of a high-profile project, ensuring the successful delivery of key infrastructure elements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage the external works package, including civil engineering, hard landscaping, and utilities.

* Manage the construction of a substation, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.

* Supervise and coordinate the installation of extensive cabling and infrastructure.

* Ensure the HVAC systems are installed efficiently and to specification.

* Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to project timelines.

* Monitor health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in managing external works on large-scale construction projects.

* Strong knowledge of cabling infrastructure, HVAC installations, and substation construction.

* Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

* Familiarity with health & safety regulations and quality control processes.

* Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
