This customer service role is very fast paced and encompasses a number of different tasks, with no two days the same. Training will be provided on product and industry specifics, as well as comprehensive training and support in regards to our internal processes.

The basics of the role include dealing with both customers and prospective customers via email, telephone and occasionally in-person, then providing them with information and quotations as requested. It also involves processing customer orders and coordinating the despatch of the same via either our own vehicles, with colleagues at another branch or via external courier. The other key aspect includes working with colleagues to ensure local stocks are well maintained to facilitate orders in a timely fashion and liaising with suppliers in regards to our own purchase orders.

Ad-hoc cover in our warehouse will be required in the event of absenteeism or busy periods when customers call in branch. This involves lifting unit sizes of up to 22kg and packing boxes or small pallets for collection via courier
