We are seeking a Junior Buyer to join our team in the procurement department. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing and purchasing activities to support our supply chain operations.

Cantonese Speaking Junior Buyer for Food

Location: North Greenwich

25K, Temp to Perm

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior buyers to identify suppliers and negotiate contracts
- Utilise systems such as Oracle EBS, AS400, SAP, and Edwards for procurement tasks
- Analyse market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions
- Assist in managing inventory levels and ensuring timely deliveries
- Liaise with logistics providers to coordinate shipments
- Support the purchasing team in maintaining accurate records and documentation

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a buying or procurement role is advantageous
- Proficiency in using procurement systems such as Oracle EBS, AS400, SAP, and Edwards
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms with suppliers
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics operations
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
