THE ROLE – Reception Teaching Assistant
As a Reception Teaching Assistant, you will be providing 1:1 support for a child in Reception with ADHD and global delay. Your role will involve helping the child engage in classroom activities, providing tailored support to meet their learning needs, and ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day. You will assist in managing challenging behaviours such as throwing objects and spitting, using positive behaviour management techniques. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement individualised strategies that promote the child’s development and integration into the classroom environment. This is a full-time, school hours role, starting after Easter.
