Intermediate Service Charge Accountant – SE London office (Hybrid working) – £32-36k to start

Perhaps you’ve acted as an Assistant and are looking to step up or are currently a Service Charge Accountant with limited scope to progress and seek a company willing to invest and promote.

Our client is based close to Waterloo and is looking to hire an intermediate Service Charge Accountant / Assistant stepping up as follows:

* Working alongside the wider accounts and property management teams dealing with the full cycle of Service Charge matters

* Liaising with leaseholders, freeholders and RMC directors, acting as first point of contact for queries whilst keeping line managers and the wider property management function informed

* Using QUBE as the in-house CRM (exposure to this would be beneficial but full training can be provided for those with good general IT awareness)

* Daily/Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts

* Producing monthly/quarterly statements

* HMRC returns and reporting

* Providing accounting data for year-end accounts/audit

* 1 years’ service charge exposure essential (at any level)

* Initially office based to start, moving to hybrid (2 days from home) once settled and up to speed with systems/expectations

For the successful intermediate Service Charge Accountant / Assistant, remuneration will include a basic salary up to £36k to start alongside encouragement and funding for professional development and a genuine career path.
