Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Manager to join a well respected and successful fenestration business based in Cheshire.

Our client offers the widest range of luxury aluminium fenestration products in Europe. Their products are engineered in their European partner factories, offering market-leading options, providing the perfect fusion of security, substance and style.

The role responsibilities:

* Implement, maintain, drive and oversee robust product technical standards, systems and processes with our manufacturing partners and in our UK factory

* Influence technology strategies and decisions with a high-level of expertise and knowledge

* Provide direction and support to ensure compliance with relevant legislative specifications and conformity standards

* Educate internal teams and Design Partners on products and address training needs when necessary

* Establish installer codes of practice and introduce a registered installer scheme

* Coordinate the regular testing of products to comply with UK standards and to address any product shortcomings

* Act as a key contact with Design Partners who have technical or product support issues

* Attend site to conduct training and resolve disputes, where required

* Produce a product manual for each product category/range

* Manage a Service Engineer

The candidate skills & experience:

* Must have extensive aluminium fenestration knowledge at a deep technical level

* Be computer literate

* Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of Logikal software

* Hold excellent customer service and communication skills

* Be willing to travel abroad up to 3 times per year
