Role: CNC Machinist
Location: Farnborough
Rate: £20 – 22 / hour + Overtime Available
 
Shift: Rotating 6 – 2 & 2 – 10
Overtime: Available within the week & weekends at premium rate
 
A leading engineering company based in Farnborough are looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, with opportunity to extend. The role will be based on a double day’s shift with overtime available during the week and over the weekends.
 
The responsibilities of the CNC Machinist are as follows:

Setting and operating CNC machines
Programming – if experienced
Responsible for maintaining production output, cycle times & all associated production documentation
Become an active team member contributing to driving waste elimination and cross- training  
The successful CNC Programmer will have the following skills/experience:

Strong CNC Milling / Turning background
CNC Setting & Operating experience
Programming experience is beneficial
Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team  
The successful CNC Machinist will enjoy a great work environment, opportunity for enhanced earning through optional overtime, and a good chance of contract extension.
