Based in Prestonpans near Musselburgh

£250 - £275 per day (Ltd Company) - 3 Month Contract – Outside IR35

This specialist manufacturer of components and systems for the process industry have exciting plans to double their order book in the next two years having joined up with a global name in the sector. With workload increasing, there is a requirement for a Site Supervisor to help support the production team to ensure that work is completed on time and to budget.

The Role

As a Site Supervisor role will involve the following:

Being present on the shopfloor
Offering support to the production team on site
Answering any questions that may arise
Solving problems and offering advice
Ensuring the factory is kept clean and 5S is being followed
Team talks in the morning if required
Monitoring attendance, behaviour and work progress
Maximising productivity by reducing downtime
Promoting best practice and good work ethic
Act as a facilitator to help point the production staff in the right direction
The Site Supervisor will need the following skills to be successful in their application:

Experience of supervising people in a manufacturing / engineering / production / logistics environment
Excellent communication skills
High level of empathy and support
Excellent work ethic
An eye for detail and diligent working practices
