Job Title: SEND Teacher needed in Kidderminster!

Location: Kidderminster

Start Date: Immediately               

Salary: £130 - £190 per day

TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic all age SEND provision based in Kidderminster The school follows a varied curriculum to suit the needs of the young people. Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. Their culture is one of patience, inclusivity and helping children and young people with disabilities to achieve their full potential, whilst promoting independence

The school is looking to take on a permanent SEND Teacher on a full-time basis. The successful Teacher will be working directly with students across Key Stages 1 -5, whose ages range from 11 – 16yrs. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

-          QTS

-          Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD

-          Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
