One of my local authority clients based around Buckinghamshire are on the lookout for an interim Housing Standards Officer to support their team.

You will be required on site 2/3 days per week with the remaining days working from home.

Day-to-day duties

1) Conduct HHSRS property inspections.

2) Carry out necessary enforcement actions on both CAT 1 & CAT 2 hazards inline with the Housing Act 2004.

3) HMO inspections and related licensing.

There is an expectancy to hit the ground running therefore recent previous experience conducting HHSRS inspections (minimum 2 years) within a local authority setting is essential.

Additional duties:

Contract: 6 Months +
Rate: £40-£45p/h
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 37 p/w
