An opportunity to join an established MEP Consultancy. The team is currently sitting at around 90 heads across two office locations. You will be a part of a team of specilists who specilise in a variety of projects such as; Education, Healthcare, Hotels, Data Centres, Residential, Offices + More.

Role Expecatations;

* Collaborate actively with process owners to review the design process.

* Create schematics, elevations, and details in AutoCAD/Revit that adhere to engineering directives, UK engineering standards, CDM regulations, and drawing and quality procedures.

* Produce and verify engineering calculations as necessary.

* Assist the team with project checks and reviews, addressing issues to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

* Coordinate CAD/Revit drawings with other disciplines, understanding the principles of other engineering fields.

* Stay up-to-date with relevant engineering and industry standards.

* Communicate effectively and professionally with external members of the design team and clients on technical matters, whether during client meetings, workshops, or project review sessions.

* Provide clear, accurate, and timely responses to queries from the design team and contractors, including RFIs and technical submittals, in accordance with company products.

* Always keep future business development in focus, foster strong relationships with industry contacts, and promote the business whenever opportunities arise.

* Ensure projects stay within budget, assess when additional fees are necessary, and manage the team’s workload to meet project timelines.

* Proactively support management in maintaining a successful business by identifying potential risks and proposing solutions to address them.

* Seek out opportunities for new business and additional fees, obtaining approval from the line manager before proceeding.
