Contract Length: 12 Months contract with possibility of extension.
Location: Hybrid/London - expected to come into the office 1 – 2 days a week.

Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate

Spinwell is recruiting for a Technical Accounting Expert for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING EXPERT

* Providing IFRS 17 technical accounting advice and guidance

* Practical IFRS17 implementation experience

* Building and developing Excel models performing accounting and modelling calculations

* Preparing client’s Transition Accounts

* Designing and supporting new processes, controls, and Working Day Timetables (WDT)

* Designing, implementing, and testing the future state systems and solutions

* Supporting the wider FRC Programme

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING EXPERT

* Public Sector/Central Government experience preferred but not mandatory
