CAD/ CAM Engineer required for a fabrication company based in Pershore. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar position.

CAD / CAM Engineer Position Overview

Provide support to the business development executive and operations team and work to ensure that all aspects of CAD design are created to fully meet the high specifications set.

Responsible for ensuring the success of the design from inception through to delivery into manufacture.

Manage all elements of Cad/Cam programming for two AMADA 9kw fibre lasers and one BLM tube laser.

Proficient knowledge of 2D and 3D software packages to create professional work to

Generate accurate CAD/CAM drawings of parts using customer supplied drawings and / or DXF's.

Analyse the design proposals and the technical information in order to identify the issues arising during product development, defining and implementing adequate solutions in order to reach a feasible proposal with a high form and aesthetic quality.

Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers.

A creative, logical approach for generating new ideas and solutions, with the ability to transition through to product / project development.
