Teaching Personnel is seeking a dynamic and dedicated High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a thriving secondary school in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for education, looking to make a difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities
Support Teaching and Learning: Assist teachers with lesson delivery, including providing targeted support to individual students and small groups.
Plan and Deliver Lessons: Lead pre-planned lessons in the teacher's absence or deliver specific interventions.
Mentor and Motivate Students: Help students achieve their potential, providing guidance and encouragement.
Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment in line with school policies.
Requirements
Qualifications: Level 3 qualification (or above) in a relevant discipline. HLTA status or equivalent is highly desirable.
Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a secondary school setting.
Skills: Strong communication skills, confidence in working with young people, and the ability to adapt to the varied demands of a classroom.
DBS: Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
