Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in the South Coast of England, are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their Facilities Management Operations. 

Position: Building Surveyor
Rate: £23.58 per hour
Contract Duration: Temporary
Working Hours: Monday to Friday / 9 am to 5 pm

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for a portfolio of workplaces, the estate & facilities management service and health & safety compliance within our spaces and the workspace experience for all colleagues, customers, and visitors within your area of responsibility. The workplaces are a mixture of hub & spoke offices, operational yards, and scheme hub offices
You will support the delivery of the workspaces roadmap across all regions which would include Acquisitions, Disposals and Refurbishments, to provide workplaces that are safe, supportive, effective, and inclusive.
You will ensure your regions are compliant by managing the delivery of a wide range of facilities management services, focusing on hard services as well as planned and responsive maintenance. Areas of compliance include but are not limited to Lift, Fire, Water Management, Gas Safety, Air Conditioning, Air Quality and Electrical Safety. Job Requirements:

Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
At least 2 years’ experience within a Building Surveyor role or equivalent.
Educated to a Degree standard in a relevant subject.
IWFM Qualification Level 4 or higher.
RICS certification in Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management.
