About The Role

My client is looking for a structural design engineer with a sound knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit to join their team based in Chorley. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in structural drawing, have a relevant UK degree and be progressing to becoming chartered, as the role comprises both drawing and design work.

Founded in 1974 and since then has been involved in a vast range of projects nationwide and internationally. The practice is based in Chorley, Lancashire. The company is made up of a team of hardworking, skilled engineers who work with state-of-the-art in-house design software.

Role Requirements

* Experience in the use of AutoCAD is essential

* Experience in Revit and Tekla/Tedds is desirable

* BEng Civil or Structural Engineering (UK) is essential

* Excellent communication skills

* Must be a team player

Role Responsibilities

* Preparation of structural drawings, reports and designs with minimal supervision

* Providing technical advice

* Assisting the design engineers

* Liaising with relevant internal and external professional staff

* Managing projects

* Compliance with QA and technical standards

* Assistance with site inspections
